Swag Poetry Jam: Where Street Fashion Meets Spoken Word
Step into a night of rhythm, style, and storytelling at the Swag Poetry Jam, an electrifying fusion of street fashion and spoken word, set in the chic ambiance of Time Out Market Cape Town’s Studio Bar.
The fifth edition of Swag Poetry Jam pays homage to Poetry and Spoken Word through the art of Hip Hop.
Our Headliner is Mzu Ntantiso aka DEF EFF is an actor-musician who is no stranger to the flashing lights. A Cape Town style icon and trendsetter has been capturing audience with his ebs and flows for over a decade. With his new EP, LTTC 2 about to release, we thought we would take the juice off the streets onto into the dining mecca.
Opening the show will be another actor-musician whose writing brings something sublime to the mic - Shannon "The Shaman" Solomon aka Shannantino is an AFDA student, a cosplayer with verbal axe to grind. He's a doer and a spitter and he is setting up to set the TOM STUDIO stage alight.
Sponsored by Cultivar Wine Bar the first 30 attendees will receive a complimentary glass of wine on Cultivar Wine on arrival.
Join us for yet another dance of whims and wits, wrapped in the effortless swag of urban artistry.
